At the announcement of the 2020 quarantine, I joined a small team of three staff members to begin setting up a structure for production towards digital services. We figured out how we wanted to proceed and within a week, we began production. As Head of Camera Department, I made decisions regarding what immediate equipment was necessary; what equipment purchases we needed to make as our circumstances began to change over time; and was responsible for having all the equipment on set. As DP, I was responsible for shot compositions for camera on sticks as well as on gimbal and made lighting decisions as there wasn’t a gaffer. I had to manage and organize the video files as well as work with our sound engineer to manage and organize the audio files. All files would end up with me as the editor and colorist, to be put together for the final video to be uploaded and paired with the respective copy. All effects and motion graphics were done by me as the video editor. I then facilitated a video team for live stream after a year of this role.

Beyond the Sunday Service, I have made various videos for this church as a lead video producer. The most recent project I worked on was a Grant Project that I co-directed. I was responsible for creating a syllabus, organizing and co-facilitating meetings, organizing a staff trip to Fuller Seminary’s Integration Symposium, planning and co-facilitating a staff retreat, and producing a podcast episode. For the podcast episode on mental health, I produced as well as acted as the DP and editor.
