Victor Lee
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, spent the second half of my life in Jersey, and am currently based in Philadelphia, PA.
I have been part of a wide range of projects in the past 9 years (documentaries, music videos, weddings, events, podcasts, brand campaigns, online worship services, narratives), serving as a director, producer, camera operator, editor, photographer, and creative director.
I am a Sony FX3 owner and have experience navigating RED, Sony, Blackmagic, and Canon camera systems for production.
Beyond my technical experience, I am pursuing an MA in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary (more than half way done). My program is helping me integrate theology, psychology, sociology, and Asian American studies, among other fields of study, into my process of understanding storytelling as well as learning (again) how to be human. As a second generation Chinese American who is rediscovering identity and vocation, I’m eager to leverage these tools, along with my own experiences and perspectives, toward education, civic engagement, curating meaningful and formational storytelling, and creative collaboration for the building of sustainable, equitable, and flourishing communities.
